Hi everyone, I'm Qianqian. I've been thinking a lot lately about whether to go to Seoul for double eyelid surgery, but I'm feeling a bit conflicted. Many people get it done in China, and the techniques are good, but I've heard that Korean aesthetics and surgical methods are a bit different. I was thinking, since I might have the chance, why not check it out? However, it would mean taking time off work, flying over, and possibly staying there during recovery... it's a bit of a hassle.

The main thing is I don't know if the trip would be worth it. Have any sisters here flown to Korea for the procedure? How did you decide? Did you feel the results were significantly different, or did you just want to experience the Korean medical environment? I'm actually not too sure what kind of results I'm looking for, and I might need to consult with a doctor first to truly understand.

Also, I wanted to ask everyone, if I do go, what kind of preparation should I do beforehand? Will language be an issue? How long would I need to stay in Seoul for recovery? I haven't figured out the budget yet, but it feels like it might be more expensive than getting it done in China? Sisters with experience, could you share your insights? It would be a great reference for my decision.
