Hi everyone, I'm really worried about this. I'm currently considering whether to have the procedure done at home in Vietnam or fly to South Korea. Both options have advantages, but I'm not sure which is right for me.
My biggest concerns are the cost, the aftercare time, and whether it's worth the trip. Vietnam is closer, cheaper, and more familiar, but I've also heard that many people go to Korea because they want to be treated by doctors with many years of experience. However, I'm not sure if that's really necessary for my case.
Do any of you have experience with this? How did you make your decision? Was there anything special that made you choose that particular location? I'd love to hear from those who have gone through this. Thanks!

I am very interested in this, because I am also experiencing the same issue! Vietnam is close and cheap, but the experience of Korean doctors has me stumped. I would really like to hear what people choose 😊
I'm in a similar boat honestly! Quick question though—when you mention the aftercare period, are you worried about needing to stay in Korea for follow-ups, or more about managing recovery while back home? That's actually the part I'm most unsure about.
I personally traveled between Vietnam and Taiwan before deciding to try South Korea, mainly because I wanted to see a different approach. But honestly, the biggest difference wasn't the doctors' qualifications, but the convenience of post-operative follow-up – locally, I could easily return for a check-up if there were any problems, which was quite important to me. However, you're right, you don't necessarily have to come to South Korea; it depends on your needs and budget!
