Hi everyone, I'm Yating from Taiwan. I've been thinking a lot lately about whether I should fly to Seoul for double eyelid surgery. Honestly, I've been a bit self-conscious about my eye shape for a long time. There are plenty of clinics in Taiwan that can do it, but a friend told me that Korea seems to have a really good reputation for its techniques and experience in this area, so I've started seriously considering it.
But my biggest dilemma right now is... is flying to Seoul really worth it? Besides the cost of the surgery itself, I'd have to add in airfare, accommodation, taking time off work, and then staying in Korea for a period for observation post-surgery... when I add it all up, the expenses should be quite significant. I'm also unsure how long the recovery period will be before I can return to my normal life. Has anyone here undergone a cross-border procedure like this? How did you make your decision?
I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts – if you were to fly abroad for this kind of surgery, what do you think are the most important factors to consider? Is it the level of expertise, the price, or other factors? I'm really unsure how to weigh everything right now.
