Hello everyone, I'm Saki. I've been struggling with a decision for a while and wanted to get your opinions, so I'm posting here.
I'm considering cosmetic procedures for my skin concerns, but I can't decide whether to have them done in Japan or South Korea. I've heard that South Korea has advanced techniques and that the costs might be lower, but on the other hand, I'm worried about things like aftercare if something goes wrong, and the language barrier... I have a lot of concerns. How did you all make decisions like this? There are pros and cons to each, right?
I'd love to hear honest feedback from people who have actually had procedures in South Korea, those who've had them in Japan, and those who've experienced both... What reasons did you choose with? Do you have any regrets? Especially considering follow-up visits, I can't really imagine how much time and effort would be involved.
Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Ski, I'm facing the same hesitation! Have you actually tried consulting a clinic in Korea online first to find out about the costs and steps? I wonder if this helps reduce anxiety about follow-ups later 🤔
Same here! I'm in the exact same situation, torn between getting it done in Thailand or going to Korea 😅 The language barrier and post-procedure care you mentioned are exactly what make me hesitant too. I've just started asking around to see if anyone knows how to arrange international aftercare. Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts!
