Hi everyone! So I've been thinking about getting a procedure done for a while now, and I keep going back and forth between just doing it locally in the US versus saving up and making it a Korea trip. Part of me feels like Korea has such a strong reputation for this stuff and I'd love the experience, but the other part of me is like... is it worth the flight, the time off work, and the whole logistics?

I'm curious how other people who've been in this position actually made the call. Was it mainly about cost? Or were there other factors — like wanting a specific approach or philosophy that's more common there? I'm also a little nervous about recovery and follow-up care if I do it abroad, which sounds silly but it's honestly on my mind.

I'm not in a huge rush, so I'm trying to be thoughtful about this rather than just impulsive. Has anyone else weighed this decision? I'd love to hear what you actually considered and maybe what you'd do differently in hindsight.
