Hi everyone, I'm Wanting from Taiwan. I've been debating whether to go to Korea for a treatment, but I'm also hesitant about whether I should just get it done here in Taiwan.
Honestly, I'm really interested in Korea's medical aesthetics scene. I feel like their techniques and aesthetic concepts might be a bit different from Taiwan's, and I'd also like to take the opportunity to visit Seoul. However, at the same time, I'm wondering if getting it done in Taiwan would be more convenient. If there are any issues afterward, it would be easier to handle them, and there wouldn't be any language barriers for communication.
Has anyone been through a similar decision-making process? How did you decide? Do you have any regrets? I'm especially interested in hearing what factors everyone considered — was it cost, technique, or convenience? Or is it all pretty much the same, and it mainly comes down to personal preference?
I would be so grateful if anyone has experiences to share. I'm really stuck right now 😅

Hey Wanting! I've had the same thought too, because there really is a difference in aesthetic styles between here and Korea. But my question is, have you ever consulted with a doctor in Taiwan about what you want to get done? I'm curious if they said it would be better to have it done there or what 😅
Wanting, I totally get how you feel! I had the same worries when I first came from Japan 😅 Korean techniques and aesthetic sense are definitely unique, and being able to easily get aftercare locally is a huge plus. But I also completely understand feeling more at ease getting it done back home, considering the language barrier and what to do if any concerns pop up. Ultimately, I think it depends on how anxious you feel and how much you value the experience in Korea.
