Hello, my name is Som, and I'm planning my first trip to South Korea for cosmetic procedures. This is what I'm worried about — finding a truly reliable and safe clinic without taking any risks.
I'm wondering how foreigners who have gone to Korea before found clinics. Did you look at websites? Ask friends? Ask people online? And the important part — can the initial consultations be done in English, or do I need to find my own interpreter? I don't want to go in and not be able to communicate.
Has anyone had experience with this? Please share how you determined if a clinic was good and truly safe. For example, what should I ask during the consultation, or how well do they handle communication? Thanks in advance!

To Som, I understand! I had the same worries at first. Personally, I recommend emailing directly beforehand to ask if they offer English consultations before you go. Also, during your first consultation, I think it's important to ask a lot of questions and gauge whether they provide thorough explanations. I decided based on a friend's recommendation and by referencing the experiences of people who had already visited, shared in an online community. Good luck!
