How many days should I actually allow for the procedures themselves? If it's something like surgery, I'll need a recovery period, and I'll probably have to stay in a hotel during that time. I have no idea how many nights is a reasonable estimate... Also, I know some people want to combine multiple procedures, which would increase the number of days even more, right?

For those who have had procedures done overseas, how did you plan your budget and itinerary? I'd love to hear real-life experiences, like "I didn't expect it to cost this much" or "This much was enough." I want to save money systematically so I can receive the procedures with peace of mind, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
