Hi everyone, I'm Oanh. I'm currently considering whether to go to South Korea for a minor cosmetic procedure or to do it at home. Some of my friends in Hanoi have had it done there, and the results were good, but I still feel like trying the experience in South Korea because my friends have told me so much about the quality and different approach there.
However, I'm really worried about the cost (airfare, accommodation, and the procedure itself), and I'm also not sure if the results will be significantly different compared to doing it in Vietnam. Does anyone have experience with both? I'd like to hear your honest opinions on how to decide. Has anyone else struggled like me and decided to go to South Korea, or decided to stay in Vietnam and be happy with the results? 🤔 Thanks in advance!

I totally get the dilemma—I'm in the same boat! 😅 The cost of flying out plus treatments is definitely a lot to think about, but I've heard from so many people that the consultation process and aftercare in Korea is really thorough, which makes them feel more confident. That said, I'm also curious if the results are *that* different or if it's just hype, so I'm following this thread too!
Hey Oan! I'm curious, how long did your friends in Hanoi who've tried Korea stay? I'm also considering whether it's worth it in terms of recovery time and budget, or if it's more practical to try Vietnam first.
I totally get the dilemma! I'm actually thinking about doing something similar and keep going back and forth on whether to travel to Korea or just get it done here stateside. Your point about the approach being different is something I've heard too, and honestly I'm curious what the actual difference would feel like in person. Have you thought about maybe visiting Korea for a bit anyway and seeing a few consultations first before committing? That way you're not spending a ton upfront but can at least get a feel for it!
