Hi everyone, I'm Ngoc, currently living in Vietnam but interested in learning about cosmetic clinics in South Korea. I plan to go there this year for some minor adjustments, but since it's my first time, I'm a little worried about choosing a reputable place.
I'd like to ask how foreigners usually find clinics? Do they rely on recommendations from friends, or are there any trustworthy websites or communities to consult? More importantly, what should I look for when calling to inquire? For example, do they offer English or Vietnamese support, or can they arrange an interpreter?
I'm also not sure about the online consultation process with reputable clinics. If anyone has experience, please share some advice! Thank you so much! 🙏

Hey Ngoc! I'm actually planning something similar this year too, so I totally get the nervousness about picking a trustworthy place. From what I've learned, asking around in expat communities here on Reddit and Facebook groups has been super helpful—lots of people share their experiences and what to look for. When you call, definitely ask about English or Vietnamese consultation support upfront, and don't hesitate to compare a few places before deciding. You're not alone in this! 💪
I completely understand your concerns! I'm also a foreigner and went through the same struggle last year 😅 My experience is to first check out other foreign users' experiences on some international beauty communities and forums, and then directly call or consult online to ask if they offer English or any other language services you need—usually larger places will have these, or at least they can arrange a translator for you.
To Ougyoku-san! I was worried about the same thing at first, but I recommend emailing several clinics in English and judging them based on how quickly and politely they respond. It's also a good idea to ask in advance if they offer services in Vietnamese. 😊
Hi Ngọc! I've been looking for information on this too, and I'm curious—when you contact these places of interest directly, are they generally responsive to inquiries from outside the country? I'm worried that the consultation process might be complicated or take a long time 😅
I'm also Vietnamese and planning to go to Korea, so I understand your concerns! I think contacting clinics directly to inquire about consultation services in Vietnamese or English is the best way, so you can rest assured about communication. Additionally, seeking advice from friends or online communities of foreigners can also be very helpful! 😊
