Hi everyone, I'm Fitri from Indonesia. I've wanted to try the double eyelid procedure for a long time, but I've always been hesitant. Some friends said it's more worth it to go to Seoul because they say the facilities are good and there are many options. But I'm also thinking about the total cost—flights, hotel, aftercare—and what worries me most is the recovery process and follow-up from afar. What if something goes wrong, or I need another check-up?
I've never had any surgery in Korea before, so honestly, I'm a bit nervous. Has anyone tried a trip like this before? What were your experiences? Is it really worth it, or is it better to just find someone local? I also want to know how to prepare if I do decide to go—like how the initial consultation works, how long I need to stay in Seoul, and what types of procedures are available.
It's sad because I want good results but I'm also scared of the risks. Maybe someone can share some insights on things to consider before booking? Especially for first-timers like me. Thank you~

I totally get how Fitri feels! I had the same worries at first. Personally, I think it's reassuring to choose a clinic where you can ask questions multiple times through online consultations beforehand. Also, it's a good idea to stay in Seoul for about a week with some buffer time during your recovery period. Regarding aftercare, some clinics have solid support systems for after you return home, so it's good to check that during your initial consultation!
