Hi everyone, I'm Taozi. I've been thinking about going to Korea for a procedure recently, but honestly, I'm a bit nervous and unsure about how to plan the whole thing. I've read a lot of guides, and the price information is all over the place, so I'm not really sure how much money I need to prepare. Besides the medical costs, I also need to factor in flights, accommodation, and food, which feels like a significant expense.
My biggest question is how long I actually need to stay there. Some people say you need recovery time after the procedure, but I'm still unclear on the specific number of days. For example, if I go on a Friday, is it better to have the procedure over the weekend or on a weekday? Including travel time and recovery, it feels difficult to calculate the duration. Also, regarding where to stay, will areas closer to the medical aesthetics clinics be significantly more expensive?
Has anyone here gone abroad for a procedure on their own for the first time? How did you budget and plan your entire trip in advance? I'm especially keen to hear from experienced friends on how you allocated your time and costs. For your schedule, I usually add 3-5 extra days after the project to relax and consult with friends who have been there before to get a better idea of reasonable costs! 😊
