Hi everyone, I'm Peiyu from Taiwan. I've been considering getting a treatment in Korea lately, but honestly, I'm a bit overwhelmed because there are so many things to consider. Besides the treatment itself, there's the cost of airfare, accommodation, food, and transportation in Korea, making the budget so hard to estimate. Could someone share some advice on how many days to allow? Should I fly back immediately after the treatment, or should I stay a few more days to allow my skin time to recover?
I've heard that consultations in Korea usually require advance booking, but I have no idea how long the whole process will take, from the first consultation to the end of the treatment. If I stay for a week, should I find my own accommodation or are there other options? The budget is really troubling me, because airfare and accommodation alone are one expense, and the treatment cost is another. I'm worried I won't budget enough.
Is anyone here for their first treatment abroad? How did you do your research and planning? I'd especially like to hear about how to confirm treatment dates, allow for recovery time, and how much budget to prepare to be more informed. Thank you!

I understand, Peiyu! I was just as anxious when I came from Taiwan 😅 My advice is to ask the clinic if they offer online consultations beforehand. That way you can decide on your treatment date in advance and then book your flight, which makes budgeting much easier. Also, the recovery period varies depending on the treatment, so if you confirm this during your consultation, it will be easier to decide how many days you should stay! I'm rooting for you 💪
Hi Peiyu! I hope you're doing well. Coming to Korea from Taiwan must have been quite a journey. By the way, I'm curious about the typical interval between the consultation and the treatment. Have you heard anything about that yet? I have similar concerns, so any information would be helpful.
Oh, I totally understand how you feel! It was my first time going to Korea for the same thing, and I was initially overwhelmed by all the costs, feeling like I had no idea how to budget it. My advice is to talk to the clinic first to clarify the specific procedures and how many days they will take. This way, you can plan your trip and budget more accurately, because some treatments may take a few days to recover, while others may allow you to move around on the same day. So you really need to ask clearly to feel at ease.
