Hi everyone, I'm Fei. I'm thinking of getting a small cosmetic procedure done in Seoul, but my Korean is really limited, and I'm having a real headache reading reviews. The reviews on many Chinese websites seem so inconsistent, some are exaggerated, and I don't know if they're from real users or not.
I'd like to ask you all, as foreigners, how do you distinguish between genuine and fake clinic reviews? Are there any warning signs I should be wary of? For example, are reviews promising 100% results or seeming too perfect generally unreliable? Are there any other ways to confirm if a clinic is legitimate?
I'm currently struggling with my choices and don't want to get ripped off. Would anyone be willing to share their experiences? Especially how did you communicate your needs with doctors you're not very familiar with? Thank you!

I completely understand how you feel. It's really unsettling for a foreigner to find a clinic here! My experience is to try to find places that offer consultations in English or Chinese. This makes communication much clearer and reduces the chance of being misled. Also, when reading reviews, I tend to skip anything that seems too perfect or promises 100% results. I find reviews that say "there has been some improvement, but not a complete change" more credible.
