Hi everyone, I'm Lien from Vietnam. I'm planning to go for a beauty consultation in Seoul but I'm a little worried about the language barrier. I can speak English but I don't know any Korean at all. Has anyone had a consultation there where they only used English?
I've heard that many consultation places in Seoul have staff who speak English, but I'm not entirely sure. Will it be difficult to understand the detailed consultations? And should I book an appointment in advance and mention the language barrier, or is it unnecessary?
I'm also considering hiring a translator or tour guide, but that might cost extra. Does anyone have any experiences or suggestions? Thank you so much! 🙏

Hi! I was also worried about the language when I went to Seoul for consultation last time, but actually many places have English-speaking staff. As long as you make an appointment in advance and tell them you need English services, they usually will arrange it! I used the Google Translate app to ask questions and take pictures, which was quite helpful. You don't necessarily need to hire a translator 😊
