I'm considering getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul. Is it worth making a special trip there?

Hi everyone, I'm Xia, from China. I've been considering getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul, but I'm having second thoughts – is it really worth flying all the way to Korea? I've never been entirely happy with my eye shape, and after looking at many Korean cases, I feel like the aesthetic standards are different from those in China. But I'm still a little scared about surgery, especially in a foreign country.

My biggest concern is the hassle of long-distance travel if there are any problems or follow-up appointments after the surgery. I'm also unsure about the approximate cost, and I'm worried that with round-trip airfare and accommodation, the total expense might be too high. Language is also an issue; although many clinics have translators, I'm still hesitant to discuss medical details.

Have any of you had similar experiences? How did you make your decision? I'd especially like to know how long the entire process, from consultation to surgery to recovery, usually takes? If it's not a particularly complicated case, is it about the same if I get it done in China? I'd love to hear everyone's honest thoughts!
