Hi everyone, I'm Bich from Vietnam. I'm planning to go to Seoul for consultations about some minor aesthetic adjustments, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. I can speak basic English, but I'm not very fluent, and I don't know any Korean at all. Can anyone with experience consulting there share whether aesthetic medical facilities in Seoul have English-speaking staff, or if there's anything else I need to prepare?
I'm a little concerned that if I don't fully understand what the doctor says, there might be misunderstandings about what I want to get done. It's like, the other day I heard a friend mention the importance of clearly discussing expectations. Has anyone here gone for a consultation without knowing Korean? How should I prepare to ensure everything goes smoothly and safely? Thank you all so much!

Bích, I'm also from Vietnam, so I understand your concerns! My experience is to prepare a list of questions in English or draw illustrations of what I want. This makes it much easier to communicate with the staff. Also, you should call ahead to ask if they have English-speaking staff, which will give you more peace of mind when booking an appointment.
