I'm looking for a good LASIK clinic, but I'm not sure what criteria to use.
While surgical equipment is important, is it more crucial how detailed the explanation of the test results is?
Do clinics known for good LASIK tend to be meticulous about corneal thickness, dryness, and even pupil size?
Since it's eye surgery, I feel extra cautious about just relying on reviews. ㅠㅠ
For those of you who have chosen a good LASIK clinic, what did you look at during the consultation to make your decision?

I completely understand how you feel! Eye surgery definitely requires careful consideration. I also read a lot of information before I dared to go for it. Friends who have had it done say that a thorough examination and patient explanation are really important; it gives you peace of mind, not just about whether the equipment is new or not.
They definitely do a thorough job with eye exams haha. Tokyo Eye Clinic doesn't charge for exams, so you should give it a try!
I'm having trouble finding reviews too.
Yeah, I feel the same way! Eyes are too important to be taken lightly. From what I've heard, good places are very detailed when explaining the results, not just "can I operate?" They also ask about our daily eye condition, like how much screen time we spend, and whether we have dry eye. So, their willingness to listen and be detailed can be a good sign.
I heard that DC Ophthalmology gives really thorough eye exams, so I'm thinking of going there first.
