I am considering LASIK and looking into various options, but my biggest concern is the recovery period. Since knowing when I can return to my daily life is important, I am searching for a lot of reviews regarding recovery times. I understand that it varies from person to person, but I am even more confused because some posts say the recovery period is longer than expected, while others say they got better quickly. Haha. I am also curious about how long symptoms like glare and dryness last.

It takes a while.
You should allow at least a week. It hurts more the day after the surgery than the day itself.
