Hi everyone! So I'm seriously considering getting a cosmetic procedure done, and I'm really torn between doing it at home in the US versus making the trip to Korea. I've heard amazing things about K-beauty clinics and the level of care there, but I'm also nervous about traveling for something medical, you know?

Part of me thinks it makes sense to just find someone good near me and get it over with. But honestly, I keep reading about how thorough Korean clinics are with consultations and how they really customize things. The whole vibe seems different. At the same time, I'd have to book travel, take time off work, and I'm not even sure how the whole process works if something goes wrong after I'm back home.

Has anyone here done a procedure abroad and then had to deal with follow-ups back in their own country? Or did you end up staying local and felt good about it? I'd love to hear how you actually made the call, because I feel like everyone online has strong opinions but I just want to know what people actually *experienced*. Also curious if anyone knows generally how to even compare clinics when you're not familiar with the system!
