I've never been entirely happy with my eye shape, and a while back, while browsing Xiaohongshu and forums, I saw many people getting double eyelid surgery in Korea. The results genuinely looked different. However, I also have the option to get it done domestically, so I'm a bit torn right now – is it really worth flying all the way to Seoul for it?

I know Korea is indeed experienced in this area, and their medical system is quite mature, but my concerns lie with the cost and risks. The flights, accommodation, and potential time off work for recovery... it all adds up to a considerable expense. Plus, if any issues arise post-surgery, dealing with them far from home would be quite troublesome. On the other hand, I've also heard that some people were very satisfied with their results and felt the trip was completely worthwhile.

Are there any sisters who flew from China to get it done? How did you weigh this decision at the time? Did you consult many doctors beforehand? Right now, my information is a bit scattered, and I'd love to hear about real experiences and advice to help me sort things out...
