Hi everyone! I just had a minor procedure done in Korea yesterday, and I'm currently trying to manage the swelling and bruising that have appeared. This is my first time doing something like this, so I'm a bit overwhelmed, haha.
The doctor gave me basic instructions, but I'd love to hear from your experiences if you've been through something similar. Roughly how long does it usually take for the swelling to start subsiding? And do you have any recommendations for a safe skincare routine during the recovery period? I'm worried about making a wrong move and making things worse.
I'd also like to know if anyone has tips for managing bruising. Has anyone tried compresses or specific supplements that genuinely helped? I've been reading online, but the information is very mixed, so I trust your firsthand accounts more.
Thanks so much to anyone who's willing to share! 🙏

I'm also considering getting a similar minor procedure, and seeing your sharing has been really helpful! I'm also very worried about how long the swelling and bruising will last. I'm looking forward to seeing your recovery progress, which will help me feel more confident about deciding to go for it 😅
I totally get that feeling, haha, I was nervous the first time too! From my friends' experiences, swelling usually starts to subside on the third or fourth day, but everyone is different. The important thing is to just follow your doctor's instructions and be patient, don't rush into using heavy products first—stick to simple skincare until you're completely healed.
Hi there, what skincare products did you use before your procedure? I'm also about to have mine for the first time and I'm worried if there's anything specific I should avoid in the first few days 😅
Take it easy! I was actually thinking of trying something similar myself after seeing your experience. I'm glad to see you've been managing your symptoms from day one. Wishing you a speedy recovery! 😊
