Hi everyone, I'm Mae. I'm thinking about getting some medical aesthetics consultations in Seoul, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. My English is decent, but not particularly fluent, and Chinese is definitely my comfort zone. I wanted to ask—if I only speak English and Chinese, will I be at a disadvantage when consulting at medical aesthetics clinics in Seoul?
I've heard that a lot of international patients go to Seoul, so there should be clinics that can communicate in English, right? But I'm not sure if that's the case everywhere. Has anyone had similar experiences? When you consulted in English, was the communication with doctors and staff smooth?
If English isn't enough, is there a way to book a Chinese translator in advance or handle it somehow? I want to fully understand the consultation process and don't want to miss important information because of language issues. I'd love to hear about your experiences!
