Hi, this is Aoi. I'm planning to get cosmetic procedures in Seoul this year, but I'm a little worried about the language barrier. I can manage basic conversational English, but I'm concerned about whether I'll be able to understand medical explanations properly.
I've heard that many facilities in Seoul have staff who speak Japanese, but what's the reality? Is it possible to manage with just English, or should I specifically look for places with Japanese-speaking staff? What do you all do?
Have you ever felt anxious because of language barriers during pre-treatment consultations or explanations during procedures? I'd love to hear any tips or tricks you use.
