Hey everyone! So I'm planning a trip to Korea in a couple months and I'm seriously thinking about getting some nose filler done while I'm there. I've never done it before, so I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing.
My main question is — how long do I actually need to wait before getting on a plane? I'm only there for about 10 days total, and I'd probably want to get it done in the first few days. Has anyone here done fillers and then flown home after? I'm worried about swelling or bruising making it look weird, plus I have no idea if there are any issues with flying right after a procedure.
Also, if anyone has tips on what to expect recovery-wise in general, I'd love to hear about it! I'm trying to figure out if this is even realistic for my timeline or if I should wait for a longer trip. Thanks in advance!

Ah, what a tricky situation! I'm curious, have you asked the doctor there about post-procedure flight guidelines? It seems like you'll need to consult directly with those who will be handling your procedure to know exactly how many days are safe before flying.
I'm considering the same thing! But I've seen many people say that there will be swelling and bruising in the first few days after the surgery, and a 10-day trip might be a bit tight. Maybe you could consider coming a few weeks earlier or extending your stay, which would make you feel more at ease.
I was thinking the exact same thing! It's really concerning how much swelling there might be if I fly back just a few days after the procedure. But I've heard that many people get it done and fly back right away, as long as they take good care of themselves. I'm also curious to know if those with extensive experience have any advice.
I was also in a rush to get fillers done while traveling in Korea, and honestly, 10 days was a bit tight... My experience was that swelling and bruising were quite noticeable for the first three to four days. I was still a bit swollen on the day I flew back, so if you want to look more natural by the time you return home, you might want to consider getting it done a few days earlier for a more comfortable experience 😅
