Hi everyone, I'm Xinyi from China. I'm recently considering getting a small cosmetic procedure done in Korea, but honestly, I'm a bit nervous because of the language barrier and not knowing the area. I wanted to ask all you experienced folks out there, how did you find trustworthy clinics?
I'm particularly interested in knowing what aspects to look out for before going. For example, do clinics offer English consultation services, or arrangements for translators? I've heard some places have Chinese-speaking staff, is that true? Also, during the first consultation, what questions should I ask the doctor to gauge their reliability?
Furthermore, do you have any recommendations when choosing a clinic? Should I compare several places? I'm a bit worried about encountering unprofessional places or those solely focused on making money. If any of you have prior experiences or any tips, I'd love to hear your advice! Thanks everyone! ~

I've had a few experiences when I had free time. What helped me a lot was consulting at more than one place. I heard different approaches and got a feel for the staff's vibe. It made me sense if they were rushing or genuinely invested! One tip is to ask for their LINE or WhatsApp contact before you go, to inquire about language and other things. Truly kind people will respond thoroughly 😊
I completely understand your concerns! I'm also a foreigner and was very nervous at first. My experience is to ask around at a few places, see which ones are willing to communicate patiently in English or Chinese, and feeling comfortable is the most important thing, because you need to be able to clearly express your thoughts. Wishing you success in finding a suitable place~
As a fellow foreigner, I understand your concerns! A small tip from my experience is to call ahead and ask if they have staff who speak Chinese, because many places offer language support, but not all of it is good. And try visiting 2-3 places to compare the vibe before deciding, don't rush into it too quickly 😊
