Hi everyone, I'm Zhen. I've been struggling with this lately. I'm not happy with my eyes and have been wanting to get double eyelid surgery, but I'm a little hesitant to find a doctor in China. I've seen a lot of posts about cosmetic surgery in Seoul lately, and I'm tempted, but flying all the way from China seems too expensive. Besides the surgery fee, there's the airfare, accommodation, and time off work for recovery... it doesn't seem worth it.
However, I've heard many people do this, saying that doctors in Seoul are experienced and their aesthetic sense better suits our needs. But I'm still worried about the follow-up if the results aren't ideal or if there are any problems. Has anyone gone to Seoul specifically for this procedure and could share their experience? I'd like to know how you decided, and whether it's worth the trouble.
Most importantly, I haven't figured out what kind of eyes I want... Can anyone give me some advice? Or are there any things I should know beforehand? I feel like I need to plan this out carefully.

I understand. Long-distance travel and calculating the total expenses can be significant. Are you planning to research and consult online before you go, or do you intend to meet a doctor in person to assess their appearance before making a decision?
I'm also thinking about a trip to Seoul like you, and I completely understand your concerns about costs and future care! I think the main thing is that you need to thoroughly research the consultation process beforehand, and then compare it with options in China to see if the difference is worth it.
