Hi, this is Mei. I'm in Korea for cosmetic treatments and I'm thinking about getting a nose filler. However, I have to go back to Japan in 5 days, so I'm worried about whether I'll recover in that time...
How long is the downtime after a non-surgical nose filler procedure? I'd like to know how long the swelling and redness last. Will it return to a natural state before I get on the plane...?
If anyone has experience with this, I'd be grateful if you could tell me what it was like. I know it varies from person to person, but any information would be helpful. Has anyone else had the procedure in a similar situation?

I was just as worried as Mei! Five days is really a bit rushed. I've heard from experienced people that most people only experience mild swelling for the first 2-3 days, but everything depends on each person's body. A friend of mine flew after 4 days and was fine, just needing to cover up a bit with glasses or makeup. But if you want to be safer, ask your consultant if they have any recommendations for your schedule!
Hi Mei! I'm also considering getting nasal fillers, but I'm more concerned about whether flying will affect the results—have you heard of any effects flying has on fillers that have just been done? Or am I mainly worried that the swelling and redness won't go down within 5 days?

Hi Mei! I think 5 days might be a bit too long for someone in the same situation. My friend said that the first 2-3 days after the injection were particularly challenging, but by day 4-5 she was much better. I would like to remind you to start with a very thorough cleaning and talk to your doctor before taking it, because I think everyone's recovery time is different!
