Hi everyone, I'm Chialing from Taiwan. I'm recently considering getting some aesthetic treatments in Seoul, but honestly, I'm a bit nervous about where to start. I'd like to ask for advice from all of you – especially experienced international users – how do you usually find trustworthy clinics?
My biggest concern is the language barrier. Can anyone share if clinics typically offer foreign language services during consultations? Should I bring my own translator, or are there ways to confirm beforehand if they can communicate effectively in English or other languages? This step feels particularly crucial for clearly understanding the treatment details and potential risks.
I'd also like to know what you look for when choosing a clinic. For example, accreditation, overall clinic reviews, or any other checks I might not have considered? I'd be very grateful for advice from experienced members!

I completely understand your concerns! The last time I went to Seoul, I used Google Translate beforehand to type out all the questions I wanted to ask and then sent them directly to the inquiry emails of several hospitals. They all replied very quickly, and some even had Chinese or English-speaking consultants, which helped me feel less nervous on-site. I recommend contacting them via email or KakaoTalk in advance. This way, you can confirm if they can communicate in a language you understand and also give yourself more time to think 🙂
