Hey everyone, I'm honestly stuck on this decision and could use some perspective. I'm thinking about getting a procedure done, and I've found options both back home in the States and here in Korea. The Korea option seems like it could be really good, and I love the idea of combining it with a trip, but I'm second-guessing myself on logistics and follow-up care.
Like, if something needs tweaking or if I have questions after, it's way easier to just drive to a clinic nearby at home, you know? But I've also heard Korea has really high standards for this kind of thing and people rave about their experiences there. I'm not even sure about the actual cost difference once you factor in flights and accommodation—has anyone done the math on that?
I guess I'm wondering: how did you all make this choice? Did you go for it in Korea and feel good about it? Or did you decide to stick with your home country? What were the deciding factors for you? Any advice on what I should be thinking about?

Honestly, I totally get your worry about aftercare from abroad—that's what made me nervous too! For me, having someone local I could just pop in to see if anything felt off was huge peace of mind. But I also know people who've done it in Korea and honestly just called or video chatted with the place when they had questions, and it worked out fine. I think it really depends on how comfortable you'd be managing things long-distance if something came up!
