Hi everyone! So I've been thinking about coming to Korea for a procedure I'm interested in, but honestly I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed trying to figure out the whole budget situation. I've done some research and I know procedures here can be more affordable than back home, but there's so much more to think about than just the treatment cost itself — flights, accommodation, meals, aftercare time... I'm not even sure how many days I'd need to stay to be safe and comfortable.
Has anyone done this before? I'm trying to figure out a realistic timeline. Like, do you need to stay a certain number of days before flying back? I imagine recovery varies depending on what you get done, and I definitely don't want to rush it. And then there's the whole thing of finding a place to stay that's convenient — I'm assuming somewhere close to a clinic would be smart so I don't have to travel far while healing.
I'm also wondering if anyone has tips on how to save up or plan financially for this kind of trip. Should I be setting aside money for a consultation first? Or do consultations happen virtually? Honestly, any advice on how you approached the planning side of things would really help me feel less anxious about this. I want to do it right, but I'm definitely a planner and need to feel confident about the whole picture before I commit!
