Hi, this is Misaki. I've been thinking about getting cosmetic procedures in Korea for a while, but honestly, I'm having trouble with the budget and planning... Not just the cost of the procedure itself, but also the airfare, accommodation, etc. I have no idea how much I should budget for all of that. 😅
For those who have actually gone for procedures, how long did you stay? How many days are needed, including the day of the procedure and the following day? Considering the balance with my work schedule, planning is really difficult...
Honestly, I'm interested in procedures in Korea, but it's my first time traveling abroad alone, and I don't know what to prepare or who to ask for advice. I'd be grateful for advice from anyone who has had a similar experience. In particular, I'd like to know how you managed your budget and what you were careful about during your stay.

Hi Misaki! This is also my first time going to Korea alone for a beauty treatment, so I totally understand your concerns 😅 I was wondering if you'd prefer a simpler treatment or one with a longer recovery period? Because that would mean a significant difference in the length of your stay~
Misaki, I totally understand! I had the same worries, and before actually going, my head was full of thoughts about budget and schedule management 😅 When you include airfare and accommodation costs, it adds up to quite a bit, so I think it's important to do a lot of research beforehand. In my case, I felt it was reassuring to stay for at least 3 to 5 days to give myself time to monitor how things were before and after the treatment. If there's anything specific you'd like to know, we might be able to think about it together!
I understand your concerns 😊 When I traveled for the first time, I booked accommodation for about 5-6 days because I wanted to have time to rest after the trip and learn about self-care. Regarding the budget, try thinking ahead and including airfare, accommodation, and food; it will make things much easier. And if it's your first time, try finding friends who have traveled before or post your questions to gather details!
Hey Misaki! I totally get the overwhelm—I'm actually in the same boat trying to figure this out myself, so it's nice to see someone else asking about it. The recovery time piece is what I'm most curious about too, since I can't just take forever off work lol.
I'm also thinking about this trip, so I feel like you understand! 😅 In my opinion, you should plan a few extra days after treatment to recover and avoid flying too soon, plus accommodation and food costs will be higher than expected. I wish you thorough preparation and a wonderful experience in Korea!
I'm in the same situation as you; it's my first time traveling alone, so I'm feeling very anxious! I plan to stay for about 5-7 days to allow time to recover and explore Seoul a bit, but you could check travel forums or other online communities to hear more specific experiences from people who have been there before.
