Hi, it's Mio. I'm planning to get a minor cosmetic procedure in Korea and then go straight on a trip. I have a question about managing swelling.
I've heard that there's some swelling after the procedure, but how did you all manage it when flying or sightseeing? I know cooling is important, but it seems difficult to keep applying cold compresses throughout a trip. Do you have any recommendations for good aftercare products?
Also, I'd love to know about any portable care items. I'm a bit lost on what to choose, especially with cosmetic product import regulations. What did you all pack for your trips? I'd be happy to hear about your experiences!

I'm on the same page with this issue! My best tip is to bring a compression sheet mask when you fly. It's super lightweight, easy to carry, and helps keep your skin hydrated on the plane. It's also a great help for the first 2-3 days after a treatment!
Mio, I'm thinking the exact same thing! Swelling before a flight is definitely a concern, isn't it? I have travel plans around the same time, so I'm really curious to see everyone's answers. It seems like compression masks or portable care items would be useful. Let's tackle this together!
Mio, great work! I've also had procedures done in Korea and traveled right after, and honestly, it's tough to keep applying cold compresses. I brought a few small, compress-able sheet masks and used them on the plane and at the hotel. Also, rather than focusing on swelling, I tried to be mindful of limiting salt and drinking plenty of water, which I felt helped a little. Even if the swelling doesn't completely subside, maintaining a positive mindset to enjoy your trip might be important too 😊
