Does recovery take longer if I get jaw contouring at the same time?

I'm looking into jaw contouring, and I'm wondering if recovery becomes much more difficult the larger the scope of the surgery?

I definitely want to refine my face shape, but I'm most worried about swelling and difficulty eating.

Since jaw contouring involves addressing both the bite and facial lines at once, I think the consultation is crucial.

I'm also curious about how uncomfortable it is to speak or eat in the early stages after surgery.
