Hi, my name is Praew, and I'm currently considering getting double eyelid surgery in Korea. I've heard good things about Seoul, but I'm not sure if it's worth the flight and accommodation costs. Has anyone been there before?
My concern is that going so far means I have to consider several things, such as needing to go twice for pre- and post-operative checkups, and possibly staying in Korea for a while to recover. Has anyone calculated all of this to make it worthwhile?
I'm still gathering information, asking friends, and looking at other people's experiences. Does anyone have any information or personal experiences they'd like to share? Thank you in advance.

I'm considering this too! I understand your concerns about travel and accommodation costs, but I've heard that many foreigners find it worthwhile because the quality and price are relatively reasonable compared to other countries, although adding airfare and hotels definitely requires careful planning. How long do you plan to stay?
I was thinking the same thing! I totally understand your concern about the total cost, including flights, hotels, and follow-up visits—it's quite a lot. But I've heard from some friends that many people from outside Korea find it worth it because they can heal while exploring the city. Maybe we can ask in another thread about who has gone through the process; maybe someone can share their honest experience!
I was thinking the same thing! The round-trip and accommodation costs are definitely a big factor. In my case, some clinics offered counseling via video call, so it might be a good idea to inquire about a few options beforehand. Also, considering the recovery period, if you plan for a longer initial visit, you might be able to complete subsequent follow-up appointments in just one session.
I'm also considering going to Seoul, but I'm having a hard time deciding! Do you mean I need to make two round trips? Or can I stay there during the recovery period? If I can stay a few more days, will the total cost actually be less than I think?
