Hey everyone! I'm planning a trip to Seoul next month and I'm thinking about getting a consultation for some aesthetic treatments while I'm there. I speak English and a tiny bit of Korean (like, survival level lol), and I'm honestly a bit nervous about the language thing during consultations.
Has anyone else done this as an English speaker? Did you find that most places have English-speaking staff, or is it pretty hit or miss? I'm wondering if I should try to learn more Korean phrases beforehand or if I should look for a translator app or something. I definitely don't want to end up confused about what's being discussed, especially when it comes to medical stuff.
Also curious if anyone's had experience with places that seemed more international-friendly vs ones where nobody spoke English? Any tips on how you handled it? I'm not expecting everyone to speak perfect English, but I just want to make sure I can actually communicate clearly about what I'm looking for.
Thanks in advance!
