Hi everyone! I'm Lu, and I'm from mainland China. I've been thinking about getting a minor cosmetic procedure done in Korea recently, but I'm a bit worried about how to find a truly reliable clinic. I know Korean medical aesthetics has a great reputation, but as a foreigner, the language barrier is definitely going to be an issue.
I'd like to ask you all a few questions: How do you usually search for and choose clinics? Are online reviews really trustworthy? Also, when you go for a consultation, if the doctor doesn't speak Chinese, is it better to bring your own translator, or do clinics provide translation services? I've heard that some clinics can communicate in English or Chinese, but I'm not entirely sure how to verify that.
One more thing—what kinds of questions do you usually ask during your first consultation? How can you tell if the doctor is actually listening to your needs instead of just trying to upsell you? I'd really love to hear about your real experiences. Thanks!
