Hi everyone, I'm Hsiaoting from Taiwan. I've been considering a medical aesthetic treatment recently, but I'm stuck on a big question – should I find a doctor in Taiwan, or just fly to Korea? I know Korean technology and experience seem highly recommended, but the round-trip airfare, accommodation, and time costs don't seem cheap either. Plus, I'm not sure if it would be too stressful to undergo this kind of procedure in an unfamiliar environment.
I'd really love to hear about everyone's experiences. If any of you have had procedures done in both places, or specifically traveled to Korea for one, could you share how you made your decision? What were your deciding factors? Was it finding a doctor you particularly trusted, or simply feeling that the Korean style or technology better suited what you were looking for? Also, if you come to Korea for treatment, how long do you typically need to stay for recovery? These are all things I'm currently worried about.
Please share your thoughts, I'm feeling so lost 😅

I'm in the same boat as Hsiaoting! I'm weighing the options between getting it done in Vietnam for a lower cost but uncertain quality, or flying to Korea for its renowned reputation, which is more expensive and stressful. I haven't decided yet, but I've seen many foreigners say that their experience in Korea gave them more peace of mind, though I'm not sure if it's due to the technology or just the psychological aspect 😅
