About how long does the peak swelling usually last? Also, I'd like to know if there are any convenient products for swelling care during airplane travel or afterward. Are there any portable items like cooling sheets?

If anyone has experience with getting procedures around their travel dates, I'd love to hear what you actually brought with you and what kind of care you did.
