Hi everyone, I'm Zhen. I'm planning to have a minor cosmetic procedure in Korea next month, probably a mild injection or skin treatment. I'm a little worried about post-procedure swelling because I'll be traveling for work and won't be able to rest at home for long.
I'd like to ask if anyone has any experience to share? What can I do to help reduce swelling, like cold compresses, massage, or certain foods? Should I bring any skincare products from China beforehand? Or can I buy more suitable post-procedure products in Korea? I've heard some people prepare ice packs or anti-swelling masks, but I'm not sure if these actually help.
Also, I'd like to ask if there's anything I should pay special attention to when traveling by plane in the first few days after the procedure? Has anyone successfully recovered under similar circumstances? Thank you so much!

I'm also a foreigner and I understand your concerns! I've seen many people recommend bringing a moisturizing mask and ice pack from home, as there's usually some swelling for the first few days after the procedure. Some people also say that drinking plenty of water and avoiding strenuous activity for a few days helps, but you should definitely ask the clinic where you had the procedure about any specific precautions for your situation!
I was just as worried as you when I went on business trips! I've heard many people say that applying a cold compress immediately after the procedure, drinking plenty of water, and staying still for the first few days helps reduce swelling, but everyone is different, so the results aren't guaranteed. You should ask your doctor for specific instructions after the procedure; they'll give you the most accurate guidance for your situation!
