Hey sisters! I'm Rui, and I'm planning to get non-surgical filler for my nose this month while I'm in Korea. But I'm a bit worried about the recovery, since I can only take a week off and then I have to fly back home.
I wanted to ask you all about your experiences — how long does it typically take to recover from nose filler to the point where you can get on a plane? I've heard there might be some swelling and bruising, but I'm really not sure exactly how long it takes for those to go away. There's so much conflicting information online — some people say a few days is fine, others say it takes a week or two, and now I'm kind of torn.
Has anyone done this recently? Could you share your actual experience? Like, how many days after the procedure could you go out, and when did the swelling and bruising basically become unnoticeable? That way I can plan my itinerary better. Thanks so much, everyone!

I totally get it, Rui—I was in the same boat! Having to be back to normal within a week is really tough. In my case, it looked like something I could cover with makeup by around day 3 after the procedure, but it seems like there's a lot of variation from person to person… I've heard pretty different experiences from people around me. Honestly, I think the best thing to do is have a solid conversation with your aesthetician about it and get their advice tailored to your schedule!
I totally understand your concern! I used to be the same way, always rushing with timing. But based on my experience and what my friends have gone through, you should mentally prepare yourself for some swelling and possible bruising in the first week, so I'd recommend planning your flight schedule carefully to give yourself some extra buffer time. Good luck with your trip!
Hey Louis! I've been in a similar situation and worried about it too. I have a question though—I heard that you're supposed to apply compression after the procedure, but does air pressure have anything to do with it when you're flying? If anyone has experience with this, I'd really appreciate your input😭
I was thinking of doing the same thing! I'm still a bit hesitant right now because I'm worried about swelling, but I've heard that everyone's experience is different. Let's wait and hear from the sisters who have already tried it 🙏
Hey Rui! I'm a foreign user too and I totally get the worry about having limited vacation time. From what my friends have shared, it does vary, but most of them said they could leave the house with makeup in 3-5 days, though there might still be some slight swelling. It's probably safer for you to ask the clinic directly that'll be handling you, since they can assess your specific condition and give you a more accurate timeline for such a short vacation window. Hopefully you can work out the scheduling!
