Hi everyone! So I'm planning to get a small procedure done while I'm in Korea, but I'm flying back to the US like 5 days after. I'm a bit nervous about managing swelling on the flight and after I get home. Has anyone traveled right after getting something done? I'm mostly wondering what kind of aftercare products are actually worth bringing back with me versus just buying at home. Like, are there specific Korean products people swear by for reducing puffiness? Also, any general tips for keeping swelling down while traveling? I'm guessing ice packs and compression are obvious, but I'm not sure what else helps. I definitely want to follow my doctor's care plan, but I'm also trying to be realistic about what I can actually do on a plane and in an airport lol. Any advice would be super helpful!

That's exactly my situation! I'm also thinking of getting treatment here and flying back to Thailand after a week. So I was wondering how to manage the swelling while I'm here. I hope someone can share their real-life experience with us.
I tried this two months ago! My main tip: buy a light moisturizer from a Korean pharmacy (any regular brand will do) instead of carrying one from home; it's lighter for your luggage 😅. Another thing that helped me a lot was drinking plenty of water on the plane and trying not to sit still the whole time. But everyone's experience is different, so ask your doctor about things you can do specifically on a plane!
