Hi everyone, it's Yun. I'm currently wrestling with a decision. I want to get some minor facial adjustments, and there are doctors who can do it locally here. However, I've heard that Korean aesthetics and techniques are quite mature. The issue is, getting it done locally is convenient and hassle-free, but I'm a bit worried about the results. Coming to Korea would mean taking time off work and arranging accommodation, and the cost would definitely be higher, but I feel like I'd have more options to explore?
I'm really unsure how to weigh these factors. Has anyone else been at this crossroads and felt conflicted? How did you ultimately decide? What factors convinced you to go to Korea, or what made you decide to get it done locally? I'd love to hear everyone's genuine thoughts – not professional advice, just personal experiences shared between people.
Also, if anyone has been to Korea for something similar, could you share a rough timeline? For example, how long do you need to stay to feel confident about returning? My work is a bit demanding, so I'd like to plan ahead. Thanks, everyone!
