Hello everyone. My name is Gerel, and I'm from Mongolia. I'm considering getting some great medical services in Seoul these days, but I have a problem – it's very difficult to read and understand the magazines. My Korean isn't very good, so how can I know if the magazines I find online are reliable? Are there any sources?
I'm open to cosmetic surgery, but first and foremost, I want to be safe. From your experiences, what are some red flags or warnings to watch out for? For example, how do you spot fake magazines, or how can you distinguish them from genuine commercial ones?
For foreigners who are good with the language and have money, is there any code of conduct or good advice, similar to the first generation of immigrants? Is there any help available? Thank you!

I'm also a foreigner living in Seoul, so I completely understand your struggles with the language barrier! My advice is to find a friend to help you translate magazine content, or see if there's an English version of the information available. That way, you can feel more at ease. Safety truly comes first, so don't be swayed by exaggerated advertisements. Asking a few different places will help you get a feel for the differences.
Gered, I think you're in the exact same situation as me! In my experience, before coming to Seoul, I scoured international doctor websites and forums, and chatted with friends to find accurate information.
