How to choose anti-swelling and aftercare products for overseas travel after a minor cosmetic procedure?

I'm considering getting a small needle-based cosmetic procedure, but I'll be traveling abroad for about a week afterward and would like to ask some experienced ladies for advice. I've heard that there will be swelling after the procedure, especially if you fly, which might worsen. Is that true?

I'd like to know how you usually manage the swelling. Do I need to bring ice packs? Or is a cold towel sufficient? Also, are there any special precautions I should take with skincare products? Can I still use my usual skincare products during the recovery period, or should I switch to gentler products?

I'd also like to ask if there are any restrictions on bringing skincare products on the plane? International flights have restrictions on liquids, and I'm not sure how to pack them. Could any ladies share their experiences? I'm a bit unsure what to prepare.
