Hi everyone, I'm Ha, and I'm considering a trip to South Korea for some aesthetic procedures. But I'm not sure where to start, especially when it comes to finances. The cost of flights, accommodation, food, plus the procedure itself... it all adds up to a significant amount. Has anyone been through this before? How did you budget for it?
I'd also like to know how long is a reasonable stay. I've heard that after some procedures, there's a recovery period, and you can't fly back the next day. So, should I plan for a week, two weeks, or longer? And what about follow-up appointments to check the results – do I need to go back, or can it be done via telehealth?
I'm also struggling to decide which clinic area to choose. I've heard Gangnam and Myeongdong are both popular, but I imagine the prices differ. Can anyone with experience guide me on how to research and compare different locations? I want to feel more confident before making a decision. Thanks so much, everyone!

Hara-san, I totally get it! I have the same concern, and at first, I had no idea how to set a budget 😅 When I considered the recovery period, I felt it was safer to plan for at least over a week. I'd love to hear advice from those who have experience!
I'm also planning a similar trip, so I completely understand how you feel! The hardest part is calculating recovery time and the overall budget, because it's truly a significant amount of money when you add up flights, accommodation, and services.
