Hello everyone, I'm Jialing from Taiwan. I've been considering getting a cosmetic procedure in Korea recently, but honestly, budget planning is giving me a bit of a headache. Besides the cost of the procedure itself, there are also flights, accommodation, food... just thinking about it feels expensive. I wanted to ask everyone, how many days do you usually set aside for a procedure in Korea? Is there a recovery period afterward, so you need to stay longer?
I've read some posts, and it seems like some people go for five to seven days, while others stay for two weeks. But I'm not sure what this depends on – is it the recovery time of the procedure itself, or staying a few extra days for observation just to be safe? Also, how does everyone arrange their accommodation? Would it be more convenient to stay in areas with a higher concentration of medical aesthetics clinics?
I'm also a bit stuck on the budget. Can anyone share how to estimate other expenses, besides the procedure cost, to get a more realistic idea? I know people might not want to share specific numbers, but I just want to get a sense of the general scale of costs so I know how long I need to save (laughs). Are there any hidden costs I might not have considered?
If anyone has had a similar experience, I'd love to hear how you planned it! Thanks everyone~
