Hi everyone, I'm Lan. I've been thinking about going to Seoul for some skin management and beauty treatments, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, but not super fluent, and Chinese is definitely what I'm most comfortable with. I wanted to ask all you experienced ladies out there – when you consult at clinics in Seoul, do you absolutely need to know Korean or have excellent English?
Some friends have mentioned that some places have Chinese translators, but I'm not sure if every clinic does. Has anyone successfully communicated in English? Or has anyone encountered situations where the language barrier was genuinely difficult? I'd like to understand the real situation so I can be prepared. If necessary, I can also prepare some common phrases in advance or bring a translation app.
Has anyone been recently? Please share your experiences! ~
