Hi everyone, I'm Linh from Vietnam and I'm planning my first cosmetic surgery trip to South Korea. My main concern is that I don't read Korean very well, so when I look at reviews on websites or social media, I feel a bit lost. Does anyone know how to verify the authenticity of reviews, or what warning signs to look out for?
I'm wondering which reviews to trust and which to avoid. For example, are overly positive reviews suspicious? Or is it okay if a place has no reviews at all? I'm also unsure whether I should rely on before-and-after photos or look for other information as well.
Does anyone have any experiences they'd like to share? Or is there a way to contact people who have had cosmetic surgery and can speak English or Vietnamese? I really want to feel more confident before making an appointment. Thank you!

I'm also from China and I'm thinking about the same thing, so I totally understand how you feel! I think finding a consultant who speaks English or Vietnamese would be very helpful, as it would make communication clearer and allow for a better understanding of the clinic's true situation.
Hi Lin! I'm also from Taiwan and considering treatment in Korea, so I completely understand your concerns 😅 My approach is to try to find places that offer multilingual consultations, so I can at least ask questions in English or Vietnamese, which is much more reassuring than just reading reviews. Good luck, and I hope you find a choice that puts your mind at ease!
Linh, I'm also from Vietnam, so I understand that feeling! I think the best way is to find Vietnamese or foreign people who have worked there before, ask directly on Facebook groups or Instagram, rather than just relying on existing reviews. As for before-and-after photos, you should look at many different cases to get an overall impression, not just one beautiful picture. Good luck! 😊
