Hi, this is Mizuki. I'm planning to have a minor procedure in Korea, but I'll be traveling soon after. I'd like to ask those with experience about swelling and recovery care.
I'm especially concerned about what items I should bring to help reduce swelling after the procedure. Should I bring cooling packs or something from home? Or is it more common to buy them there?
Also, I'd appreciate any advice on simple care I can do in my hotel room or things to be mindful of on a daily basis. For those who have actually combined travel and a procedure, what was your experience like? I'm quite anxious about many things, so thank you in advance for your help.

Mizuki, do you know what things I should bring from home, or would it be more convenient to buy them there? I'm planning to do something similar but I'm not sure what to pack for the trip.
I've also tried doing skincare while traveling, and I found that a cold towel is usually enough; you don't necessarily need to bring special cooling patches. I just asked the hotel reception for ice cubes to put in a towel and apply it as a cold compress, and it worked pretty well! The most important thing is to drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest; that's more effective than any product.
